Mileage Tracker ("the app") is developed by Koshka Solutions ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what happens to your data when you use the app. The short version: Mileage Tracker doesn't collect, transmit, or share any of your information. Everything you enter stays on your device.
Information We Collect
We do not collect any personal information, and the app does not require an account or sign-in of any kind. Mileage Tracker does not use analytics, does not show ads, and does not include any crash-reporting or tracking software development kits (SDKs).
The app also does not request access to your device's location, camera, contacts, or any other sensitive permission.
Data You Enter
To function, the app stores the information you choose to enter directly on your device, in a local database. This includes:
- Saved locations (name, optional address, and default trip distance)
- Mileage rates you configure
- Trip records (date, location, distance, purpose, and any notes you add)
This data is stored locally on your device only. We do not operate any server that receives, stores, or has access to this information, and it is never sent to Koshka Solutions or any third party.
Exporting Your Data
Mileage Tracker lets you export your trip data as a CSV file for your own records (for example, for tax purposes). This export only happens when you choose to trigger it, and it uses your device's built-in share function — letting you decide where the file goes, such as email, cloud storage, or a messaging app of your choice. We do not receive a copy of any exported file.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties, because we never receive it in the first place. The app makes no network requests to send app data anywhere.
Data Deletion
Since all data lives in the app's local storage on your device, you can delete it at any time by removing individual records within the app, clearing the app's storage in your device settings, or uninstalling the app.
Children's Privacy
Mileage Tracker is not directed at children, does not knowingly collect information from anyone, and is intended for general audiences tracking business or personal mileage.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes — for example, if a future version of the app adds a new feature that affects your data — we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above.
